Dosa Awakening Teaser
Dosa Awakening is coming soon.
Unlike Succession where you used umbral and luminous powers, Awakening Dosa’s combat abilities are based around the five elements – tree, fire, earth, metal, and water.
Although we’re planning to release Dosa Awakening simultaneously across all regions on October 8th, we’re also preparing a developer commentary to give you a preview before the update goes live, so please stay tuned.
Guild Manor
Guild Manor has been added. The Guild Manor was designed to provide “a space just for our guild,” but with so many guilds in Black Desert, there were constraints like location and required land.
As a result, Guild Manor utilizes the manor of a guild member, allowing the invitation of guild members to the selected manor. We hope this is a meaningful update for adventurers who want a place to rest and chat with guild members, and for adventurers who like to decorate their manor.
You can enter the Guild Manor through the Enter Guild Manor button in the Guild (G) window. Similar to the Traveler’s Map, the loading gauge must be completed to be moved to the manor.
As mentioned before, we’re planning to enable Cooking and Alchemy in Guild Manors as well. Once everything is ready, we’ll introduce it through the Black Desert Global Lab.
- The ‘Guild Representative Manor’ function has been added, allowing you to set a guild member’s manor as the guild’s representative manor.
- An adventurer in the position of guild leader or assistant can designate one of the manors owned by guild members and set it as the ‘guild representative manor.’
- The manor you set can be freely used by guild adventurers.
How to set up a guild representative manor
- An adventurer in the position of guild leader or assistant will see the message ‘No guild members have been set’ in the guild information (G) window. By clicking on the text, you can set up the guild leader.
- In the guild manor settings UI, you can enter the family name of the guild member you want to set as the representative garden and designate a specific manor owned by the guild member.
- The set guild representative manor will be displayed with the adventurer’s family name in the guild information (G) window.
- A guild leader that has already been set can also be reset in the same way by an adventurer in the guild leader or assistant position.
1. Click on the phrase ‘There are no guild members set.’ displayed in the guild (G) window.
2. Enter the family name of the guild member to be set as a guild member, and select one of the guild member’s manors to set it as a guild manor.
How to use the guild representative manor
- Any guild adventurer can move to the guild manor from anywhere.
How to enter | Enter through the ‘Go to set guild manor’ button in the guild information (G) window. (You can enter from all areas except for some content and areas, and it takes a certain amount of time to prepare for movement.) |
---|---|
How to exit | Exit to the original character location through the exit of the guild representative manor. |
[Note]
- When setting up a guild representative manor, the manor must be fully rented and available for use. A manor whose usage period has expired cannot be set as a representative manor.
- You cannot press the button to participate in the Node War/Conquest War or the War of the Roses while in the guild representative’s manor.
- If you use functions such as terminating the connection, moving to the character selection window, or escaping from the guild manor, you will automatically leave the guild manor.
- You cannot move to the guild manor in the following situations.
- Some locations and Marni servers such as Red Battlefield, Arena of Solare, Guild League, Black Shrine, Battle Arena, and Prison Camp
- When the participation button for Node War/Conquest War and War of the Roses is pressed
- If the character inventory is overloaded
- Same as the Abyss Well, if you have processed trade goods, etc. in your character and mount inventory.
Horse Gear Simplification
Green-grade horse gear, previously divided by type and equip effect, has been simplified.
These simplified horse gears were designed according to specific concepts, but most adventurers have been using the Storm gear. To allow adventurers to make more meaningful use of green-grade horse gear, the equip effects of horse gear have been integrated and “Movement Speed Decrease” has been removed.
We’ll also be continuing our work to simplify items that need it in the future.
- Existing green grade horse equipment has been consolidated.
- Accordingly, through regular inspection, the following equipment owned by the family has been changed to integrated equipment.

Item Weight Reductions
When crafting foods and drinks through Cooking or Alchemy, Purified Water and Distilled Water were previously heavier than other materials, hindering mass production. We have reduced the weight of these materials, lessening this burden and allowing for more efficient crafting.
- The weight of the following material items used for cooking and alchemy has been reduced.
Item name | Before change | After change |
---|---|---|
Purified water | 0.3 LT | 0.1 LT |
Distilled water | 0.3 LT | 0.1 LT |
Guild Pledge of the Blood Changes
Updates in May and June allowed for various authorities to be granted to guild members regardless of their position.
However, the use of [Guild] Pledge of the Blood was only granted to guild members with the rank of Guild Officer or higher, requiring rank changes.
Now, [Guild] Pledge of the Blood can be purchased, stored, and used freely if members have the “Learn/Use Guild Skills” authority granted, regardless of position.
- The conditions for using the ‘[Guild] Pledge of Blood’ item have been changed as follows.
- As a result, the inconvenience that resulted in the inability to purchase the ‘[Guild] Pledge of Blood’ item or move it from the guild warehouse has been improved, even if the user holds the authority, unless the position is unit leader or higher.

Black Shrine (Party) Improvements
New guild battle missions have been added.
- Black Shrine – Hwanghae Province (party) boss subjugation guild mission has been added.
- ※ If you complete the subjugation by participating with guild members of the same guild, the guild mission goal will be achieved according to the number of guild members who participated.
- For example, when performing the challenge difficulty guild mission to subdue Jigwi (subdue 5 times), if 5 guild members participate together and complete the subjugation, the subjugation goal (5 times) will be achieved all at once.

Lakiaro Improvements
The method for collecting Lakiaro with a hoe has been revised. After gathering Lakiaro in Kamasylvia and Drieghan, an additional Lakiaro will appear nearby, allowing for further discoveries similar to finding multiple ages-old wild ginseng. Starting with at least one Lakiaro, discoveries may continue until a Primitive Lakiaro is found.
The initial Lakiaro obtained will have a grade assigned randomly. Subsequent Lakiaro found will increase in grade with each discovery, potentially reaching the Primitive grade. (However, if a Primitive Lakiaro is found first, no additional Lakiaro will appear nearby due to the depletion of the earth’s energy.)
To align with the gathering minigame, we’ve increased the Gathering EXP from the Lakiaro minigame and added new exchange items for “Energy of Lakiaro” including “Millennial Wild Ginseng.” Additionally, the probabilities and quantities for obtaining the Energy of Lakiaro have been adjusted.
- An improvement has been made so that when you finish gathering Lakiaro, new Lakiaro will be discovered nearby.
- Newly discovered Lakiaro will definitely appear once for the first time, and additional Lakiaro will be discovered depending on the probability when collecting Lakiaro that appears later.
- The grade of a newly discovered Lakiaro for the first time is determined according to a specified probability, and in the case of additional Lakiaros discovered later according to probability, a higher grade of Lakiaro is discovered than the previous Lakiaro.
- Newly discovered Lakiaros will remain in the same location for 15 minutes and then disappear.
- Newly discovered Lakiaro will definitely appear once for the first time, and additional Lakiaro will be discovered depending on the probability when collecting Lakiaro that appears later.
- When gathering with Lakiaro, the gathering experience that can be obtained at each stage has been increased by three times compared to before.
- When opening the Lakiaro Sack, the probability of acquiring Energy of Lakario has increased by 10 times compared to before.
- When opening the Lakiaro Sack, the minimum and maximum quantities of Energy of Lakiaro that can be obtained have been increased as follows.
Before change | After change |
---|---|
Regardless of the stage, you can obtain one when opening the Lakiaro Sack | Depending on the stage, you can obtain a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 5 items when opening the Lakiaro Sack. |
- Items that can be exchanged for Energy of Lakiaro have been added as follows.

- You can exchange your Lakiaro energy for items through the Manage Currency UI.
※ Accordingly, the request from the Valentine NPC in Florin Village, where the existing Lakiaro’s energy can be exchanged for the Dim Tree Spirit’s Armor, has been changed to no longer be accepted.

Tungrad Ruins
As you grow stronger, it becomes more frequent to tackle multiple monster groups while the “Rumblings of Ulukita” buff is active in the Tungrad Ruins. However, the Tungrad Visionary wasn’t affected by the damage increase effect from the buff, often being left behind as you moved on to the next monster group. This has been addressed, and now, when the Tungrad Visionary is knocked down, it will receive a DP decrease effect, making it easier to take down.
The location of the ‘Tungrad Guide’, who was away from the group near the Tungrad ruins base visited by many adventurers, has been modified to allow hunting to continue more smoothly. The location of the Tungrad Visionary near the Tungrad Ruins node has been adjusted, which was separated from monster groups, to allow for a more smoother experience.
- The Tungrad Guide has been improved to apply a defense reduction effect when it falls after being attacked.
- The issue where some of Erebok’s effects appearing in Eretea’s Trials were displayed abnormally has been fixed.
- It has been changed so that when the deceased is attacked and knocked down by the appearing Dooukshini while the deceased is in progress, he or she is knocked down in place.
